Manny Pacquia rumors have begun to circulate about his ties with Top Rank and promoter Bob Arum, who is now working on the renewal of the boxing champion's contract.

According to a report by Box Score News, the eight-division world champion is contemplating on leaving his long-time promotion company, to give way to the much-anticipated mega fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. This Manny Pacquiao rumors have yet to be confirmed by "Pacman" himself.

Manny Pacquiao last fought in April against Timothy Bradley, wherein he picked up a dominant unanimous decision victory. He was able to avenge his 2012 defeat in the hands of the same foe, which drew worldwide controversy.

Now that "Pacman" is back on the winning track, his camp has deemed it best to begin thinking about their prized ward's immediate future plans.

Adviser Michael Koncz spoke to The Ring Magazine in a separate interview and discussed his fighter's next steps as his contract with Top Rank expires on December 31st.

"Bob has been good to us and we have nothing negative to say about Top Rank but we have to decide what's best for Manny at this stage of his career," Koncz said. "If we don't extend our contract with Top Rank, we may go out on our own and promote ourselves."

Manny Pacquiao rumors about a possible partnership with rapper turned boxing promoter 50 Cent have also surfaced, although "Pacman" or his camp has confirmed nothing.

Bob Arum, on the other hand, has apparently maintained the stability of his professional relationship with Manny Pacquiao and even mentioned a contract extension.

"We are working it out," Arum said in his late April interview with ESPN.com. "We are talking about a lot of things. How many fights would be in Macau, how many would be in the United States, how many in other places. But we are talking about five fights."

"Do we fight again this year or take some time off and fight next year? There are a lot of things to work on, but the new agreement we are discussing would entail five fights. That's our intention, barring injury," Bob Arum added.
