Angel Locsin Latest News: The airing of an emotional breakup scene between Monica played by actress Angel Locsin and Adrian, Jericho Rosales' character in "The Legal Wife" once again became a hot topic on social media. In the Monday episode of the primetime drama, Monica finally decides to temporarily live apart from Adrian after feeling consumed by her anger and paranoia over her husband's affair, despite him ending it and promising his loyalty. The couple struggles to rebuild their relationship after Monica known Adrian's affair with her best friend, Nicole played by Maja Salvador.
Monica is firm to the idea that their separation will give them a chance of fixing their relationship in the long run. Adrian on the other hand rejects the idea.

"The Legal Wife" also consistently topped ratings in its time slot in the first week of May, having registered 26.5% vs 12.4% on May 1, 26.5% vs 13.4% on May 2, and 25.3% vs 11% on May 5 according to ABS CBN.
In April, "The Legal Wife" ranked 6th as the overall most watched program in the Philippines with an average nationwide rating of 23.5%, according to market research group Kantar Media.
The rising viewership of "The Legal Wife" started with the unfolding drama when the Monica (Locsin) discovers that her best friend Nicole (Salvador) is having an affair with her husband, Adrian (Jericho Rosales).
"The Legal Wife," which is under the direction of Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao, airs weeknights after "Ikaw Lamang" during ABS-CBN's primetime block.
