Calling all Attack on Titan fans! Shingeki no Kyojin Chapter 57 is finally out!

But wait, what are those messages hidden in that panel? Was that a secret information about the character? A teaser for plot twist? Oh no, it turns out that Shingeki no Kyojin Chapter 57 included a hidden dirty message for readers!

Shingeki no Kyojin Chapter 57 was published in the June issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine which was released last Friday, May 9 for public consumption. However, as the panel is reverted upside-down it contained a seriously crude message written in katakana characters. While the meaning of the hidden dirty message was not revealed, the creator Hajime Isayama revealed that the message was unintentionally added and has no significance to the story at all.

Isayama has since issued a public apology through his blog site about the Shingeki no Kyojin Chapter 57 incident, written in Japanese. According to J-Cast News his assistant had written the messages and he overlooked it as Shingeki no Kyojin Chapter 57 was in the publishing process. He promised to the fans of the hit manga and anime series that he will focus more on reviewing the final draft of the manga before it reaches the publishing department.

The next chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin will appear on the same magazine next month for its July issue. Watch out for it!
