APink's Eun Ji To Star In "Trot Lovers"

APink's resident actress Jung Eun Ji will be leading the cast of "Trot Lovers".

Fans and casual viewers know her as the fangirl Sung Si Won from the hit drama "Reply 1994", and after years of starring in musicals and playing minor roles in dramas, Jung Eun Ji is ready to show her talent in the drama "Trot Lovers".

On being casted, Jung Eun Ji said, "It's been a while since I last starred in a drama, and since I was cast in a lead role, I'm very nervous. Still, I'll be giving it my best."

Her character Choi Choon Hee bears the burden of earning for the family and trying to make ends meet while taking care of her father and sister. She got her talent from her mother, who is a trot singer.

Being the lead singer of her idol group, Jung Eun Ji possesses the vocal talent for the role, as well as the acting background to support her casting. She is also a fan of trot music, making her the perfect choice for the character.

Meanwhile, actors Ji Hyun Woo, Son Ho Jun, and Shin Sung Rok have been confirmed to star alongside Jung Eun Ji in the drama.
