Chun Jung Myung Is Dating A Non-Celebrity

Another k-drama star has gone public with the fact that he is dating a non-celebrity. Chun Jung Myung, who currently appears on the MBC variety show "Real Men," has been seeing his non-celebrity girlfriend for a month now. But he might not have announced their relationship so soon if he had not been caught by a photographer.

Sports Seoul was the first publication to announce the actor's relationship saying,  "Chun Jung Myung has a non-celebrity girlfriend. Although they are 12 years apart, the actor fell for her warm heart."

A photographer for Sports Seoul snapped the 34-year-old actor and his 22-year-old girlfriend out on a date. When photographed, the couple was dressed casually and their arms were linked.

The actor's agency, Red Line Entertainment, has confirmed that the couple is dating but a representative said that they were reluctant to reveal that information, as Chun Jung Myung's younger girlfriend is not a celebrity.

According to the agency the couple has only been dating for a short time.

"As it's only been a month, they are still in the beginning stages of a relationship," said a Red Line Entertainment representative.

Here's what we do know about her. The couple met through friends. She works in the fashion industry. He says that he likes her because she is mature, kind and understanding. The two became close because they have similar interests. One of their interests is working out and she likes to challenge him to try increasingly harder workouts. She likes the fact that he's tough but sweet.

Netizens commented on the relationship, but many of the comments were critical. One said that the non-celebrity girlfriend must be happy to date a celebrity at such a young age. Another questioned whether anyone is naive enough to believe she's dating him for love? He's a celebrity before anything else.

Still, many relationships between actors and non-celebrities are successful. And Chun Jung Myung has not had many dating scandals. Last year he was rumored to be dating Kim Min Jung, his co-star in the drama "Fashion 70s" and the film "Queen of the Night," but both stars denied the rumor.

Chun Jung Myung debuted with the 1999 drama "School 2" and has since appeared in several dramas, including "Cinderella's Sister" with Moon Geun Young and Ok Taecyeon. He was also in the dramas "Goodbye Solo," "What's Up Fox?" "The Duo" and "Glory Jane."

Besides his role in the 2013 film "Queen of the Night," he appeared in the films "The Aggressives," "Les Formidables" and "Hansel and Gretel."
