The verdict is still out on whether Chris Evans has taken veteran actress Sandra Bullock as his new girlfriend. However, a insider close to the "Captain America" actor claims that the two are getting rather close.






Although the relationship between Evans and Bullock has yet to be defined, the anonymous source alleges the two "really like each other."




"They are not in a relationship, but they are definitely hanging out and are in the early getting-to-know-each-other phase," the source said, according to E! Online . "They haven't put a title on it, but they really like each other."




The speculation emerged when Evans and Bullock were spotted in the beginning of May dining with comedian and host Chelsea Handler at West Hollywood's Cecconi's.




Additionally, in April, they were seen at Craig's, another West Hollywood venue, with Handler and Melissa McCarthy.




Previously, Evans had admitted to have a school boy crush on 49-year-old Oscar winner.




"I used to be in love with Sandra Bullock when I was growing up. Sandy B. was my girl,"said Evans to Playboy three months after meeting Bullock at Vanity Fair Oscar party in February 2012. "I remember seeing Speed when I was in seventh grade and just thinking, 'That's her.'"




He also revealed to Details magazine that he had a 'big poster' of Bullock in his younger days.
