Will The "Stairway To Heaven" Stars Reunite?

It has been a great year for k-drama star reunions and now the actors who co-starred in the k-drama classic "Stairway to Heaven" have a new opportunity to create Hallyu magic together.

Choi Ji Woo is considering playing the lead role in "Temptation," also known as "Seduction," with her former co-star Kwon Sang Woo. It has been 11 years since the two played childhood friends whose friendship turned into love. "Stairway to Heaven" was a story of tragic love and self-sacrifice that caused viewers to cry buckets of tears. Only this time the story is a little more cynical. Kwon Sang Woo will play a man riddled with debt and she will play will play a cool and arrogant heiress who wants to buy his affection.

"Temptation" is a drama about four men and four women who search for love in some unusual circumstances. Kwon Sang Woo plays Cha Suk Hoon, the main character. Choi Ji Woo's character makes him an offer he can't refuse. She will give him money in exchange for his body. Desperate to pay off his debt, he accepts her offer even though he is married. And his deal with the devil has some unexpected consequences.

According to Choi Ji Woo's agency, YG Entertainment, she received the casting offer and is carefully reviewing it.

 The heiress role was previously offered to actress Lee Mi Yeon but she turned it down, giving Choi Ji Woo and Kwon Sang Woo a chance to potentially reignite their onscreen chemistry. Yoon Eun Hye is currently considering the role of Na Hong Joo, Kwon Sang Woo's wife.

Yoon Eun Hye is still making her decision. Her agency, The House Company, says the drama is only one of several productions she is currently considering.

Kwon Sang Woo has had some ups and downs in his k-drama career during the last few years. He had ratings hits with the dramas "Queen of Ambition" and "Daemul," but his most recent drama "Medical Top Team" received poor ratings.

Choi Ji Woo was last seen in "The Suspicious Houseleeper" a remake of the Japanese hit drama "Kaseifu No Mita." It was a critical success but not a hit.

Yoon Eun Hye's last drama "Future's Choice" co-starred Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Dong Gun.

"Temptation" will air in July after "Doctor Stranger." Park Young Soo, who directed "Oh My Lady," will direct "Temptation." Han Ji Hoon, who wrote "Dr. Jin" and "Time Between Dog and Wolf," will write the screenplay.
