Manny Pacquiao news reveals American trainer Nick Curson's statements about improving "Pacman's" skills, both as an athlete and a fighter.

The 40-year old strength and conditioning coach, who also worked with Filipino boxers Nonito Donaire and Donnie Nietes believes that anyone can improve under his training regimen, including Manny Pacquiao, who turns 36 years old in December.

In a report by Philippine media outlet GMA News, Curson discussed how he has worked with experts regarding his method and its effectivity.

"After reviewing the biomechanics of Manny Pacquiao with my colleague and well-known neuorologist/physiologist Dr. Igor Lavrov M.D., we have discovered several areas of concern that are greatly limiting the speed and power of Manny Pacquiao," Curson explained.

"I used these similar methods for a biomechanical assessment of Donnie Nietes for his most recent fight against Fuentes and for Nonito Donaire for his fight with Vetyeka," he added.

While Curson does not deny the fact that Manny Pacquiao has indeed shown some signs of aging and slight deterioration, particularly in his last two fights, he firmly believes that a big factor comes from improper conditioning techniques.

"This is clearly due to improper conditioning techniques and lack of optimal flexibility in certain parts of the body including the spine," Curson said. "Too many muscles activated at once by strenuous physical loading will diminish hand speed and power in boxers.

Manny Pacquiao has been tagged as a rare breed of fighter and athlete. He is an eight-division world champion who has faced and defeated boxing's top-tier fighters such as Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto, David Diaz, and Juan Manuel Marquez.

That said, Curson guarantees that he can "bring back the youthful Pacquiao", and even went as far as offering his services for free once "Pacman" knocks out his next opponent.

"I guarantee the knockout of any opponent they put in front of him," Curson confidently said. "If he does not show a noticeable improvement by knocking out whoever they put in front of him I will not charge him for training."
