Jose Aldo has promises payback for Renan Barao in his fight against Chad Mendes in August at UFC 176 as "Junior" claims that Team Alpha Male has been disrespectful towards him and his camp.

In a report by Yahoo! Sports, the rift between the two camps began after a mini occurrence in between rounds during the main event at UFC 173 featuring his teammate Renan Barao and Team Alpha Male's TJ Dillashaw.

Duane Ludwig, who was Dillashaw's trainer, jokingly told his fighter that he will conduct a fighting seminar for Renan Barao, and that he will be doing it for free.

To add insult to injury, Team Alpha Male fighter and bantamweight contender Urijah Faber mockingly posted an Instagram photo showing Renan Barao's name on Duane Ludwig's sign-up sheet.

Upset by "The California Kid's" action, Jose Aldo promises to get back at Team Alpha Male in his fight against Chad Mendes.

"Let's be patient, we will meet again," Aldo promised. "I have a fight coming up with Chad, and Barao, God willing, will fight Dillashaw again and we will get the payback."

Jose Aldo's title fight against Chad "Money" Mendes will be a second installment of their rivalry. The two men first met at UFC 142 in January 2012, wherein "Junior" finished "Money" via first round knockout.

"Junior" added that his camp has always been respectful towards Team Alpha Male whenever the two camps trained together.

"It was lack of respect," Aldo said. "We always defeat them, Faber always lost to us and we never did that. We always respected them. We always tried to help them, like when they came here to the gym. We never disrespected them."

Jose Aldo's fight against Chad Mendes at UFC 176 will be his seventh title defense in the UFC. Should he come out victorious, he will be tied with light heavyweight champion Jon Jones for the third spot in the tally, behind Georges St-Pierre (9 title defenses) and Anderson Silva (10 title defenses).
