Two actresses may soon join the three actors who have already been cast in the upcoming k-drama based on "The Three Musketeers."

It is said that actresses Yoo In Young and Seo Hyun Jin are in talks to join actors Lee Jin Wook, CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa and rapper-actor Yang Dong Geun in the retelling of the Alexander Dumas adventure novel.

Model-turned-actress Yoo In Young was last seen on the small screen playing Jun Ji Hyun's doomed rival in "You Who Came From Another Star" and also as the warrior Yeon Bi Su in "Empress Ki."

Before that she was best known for her roles in the dramas "Dummy Mommy" and "A Man Called God."

In "The Three Musketeers" she will play Jo Mi Ryung, the first love of Prince So Hyun. The prince will be played by "Nine: Nine Time Travels" star Lee Jin Wook. After being his lover Jo Mi Ryung becomes his enemy.

Singer-turned actress Seo Hyun Jin has been offered the role of Queen Kang Bin. The actress, who debuted with the group M.I.L.K. in 2001, was last seen in two projects directed by her close friend Gu Hye Sun, the short film "The Madonna" and the feature film "Magic." She previously played a role in the historical drama "Hwang Jin Yi." She also had roles in "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji" and "The King's Daughter."

The original novel told the story of a young French man in the 17th century. He leaves home to join the Musketeers of the Guard. He makes three friends who vow that whatever they do it will be "all for one, one for all."

The k-drama version of "The Three Musketeers" takes the original story and sets it in Korea during the Joseon dynasty. The musketeers in the k-drama version are the warriors guarding Prince So Hyun.

Yang Dong Geun, last seen in the film "Grand Prix," will play warrior Heo Seung Po. Jung Yong Hwa, who appeared in "Future's Choice," "Heartstrings" and "You're Beautiful," will play Bak Dal Hyang, a poor man of noble birth. Casting continues for the other parts.

The big scale drama has a $10 million budget and is collaboration between writer Song Jae Joong and producer Kim Byung Soo. Filming begins this month. The drama will begin airing in August, with episodes shown over three seasons. Each season will feature 12 episodes each. The second season will be shot in China.
