Sung Joon Confirmed To Star In “Finding True Love”

Sung Joon is up for another role in a romantic-comedy.

KBS announced that actor Sung Joon will be joining Eric Mun and Jung Yoo Mi in the upcoming romance-comedy "Finding True Love".

On the 13th, a representative from the drama stated, "Sung Joon has been confirmed to portray a lead role in the drama."

He will be portraying the character Nam Ha Jin, a cosmetic surgeon who has been dating Lee Rum (Jung Yoo Mi) for three years. He is described as a gentleman with a warm but stable personality.

A love triangle will be formed when Lee Rum's ex-boyfriend Kang Tae Ha (Eric Mun) returns and tries to woo her back.

Production company JS Pictures stated, "Sung Joon is an actor who has a lot of potential, which makes him similar to his character Nam Ha Jin. It is different from the charm that Eric will be showing in the drama, and it will be exciting to see what he has to offer to the viewers."

"Finding True Love" will be written by Jung Hyun Jung, who previously worked on the "I Need Romance" series. Jung Yoo Mi and Sung Joon both participated in the second and third installment, respectively.

Meanwhile, this drama marks Eric Mun and Jung Yoo Mi's reunion after their 2007 drama "Que Sera Sera".

The drama is scheduled to air in August after the conclusion of "Trot Lovers."
