Zooey Deschanel is dating screenwriter Jamie Linden since her divorce from ex-husband, Death Cab For Cutie and Postal Service frontman Ben Gibbard according to the Daily Mail.

Deschanel and Gibbard were married in 2009 in a Seattle wedding. The couple then filed for divorce in 2012, citing an amicable split resulting from irreconcilable differences.

The "New Girl" star's new beau, Linden is known for his independent directorial effort 10 Years, starring Channing Tatum. He alsowrote the screenplay for Dear John, adapted from Nicholas Sparks' novel of the same name. Linden's most well-known screenwriter credit is probably the McG directed "We Are Marshall" about a 1970s plane crash that killed a university football team and its coaches.

Deschanel and Lana Del Rey are amongst a list of superstars to be featured on Beach Boy Brian Wilson's new album, according to the AV Club.

The Beach Boy revealed some collaborators for his new album on his website, which posted a snippet from an upcoming Rolling Stone article announcing "songs in contention" for the album featuring country singer Kacey Musgraves, Lana Del Rey, Zooey Deschanel, and maybe Frank Ocean. The article describes their respective tracks as "sassy," "haunting," and "space-age bossa nova."

Some fans have reacted negatively to the line-up in Wilson's next album, but the star said, "In my life in music, I've been told too many times not to fuck with the formula, but as an artist it's my job to do that-and I think I've earn the right. I would think that after making music for more than fifty years, my fans would understand that I'll always do what's in my heart-and I think that's why you are my fans. So let's just wait until the album comes out because I think you just might dig it as much as I do."
