Jill Duggar Wedding Dress Featured in Jill Duggar-Derick Dillard Wedding
The star of "19 Kids and Counting" has just gotten married to Derick Dillard at Springdale's Cross Church today and the Jill Duggar wedding dressing has been the talk of the town since. The couple said their 'I dos' in front of roughly 1,000 guests, including Dillard's mother. His mother was not able to attend the rehearsal on Friday due to her long battle with cancer.
They had their 1st kiss as husband and wife to seal the ceremony, which, according to the couple, they have long been waiting for. Duggar has informed People, "I think it is safer and makes it more special to wait to kiss until your wedding day." Dillard also said, "You can really get to know each other on every level without the physical part of it."
The Jill Duggar wedding dress was gorgeous with a relatively modest neckline, a cinching style for its waistline, a long train, and cap sleeves. Plus, Duggar wore her hair loosely beneath her wedding veil.
Dillard, along with his groomsmen, looked also handsome with their gray suits on, apart from looking mostly comfortable in Arkansas heat.
After the wedding rites, Duggar's very large family had a lot to say as their form of welcome for a new addition to their family. Jackson Duggar, 10 years old, said, "I'm very excited at this wedding. Derick is like a brother already. He tells jokes and plays around with us." Jinger Duggar was also praising couple when she said, "Jill is just enjoying this time. Derick has such a tender, caring heart. I couldn't have picked a better person for my sister. We are going to miss her so much."
The patriarch of the Duggar family, Bob Duggar, stated that he was going to miss having his lovely daughter around, since she was the 1st one of her daughters to move away. Although he had already accepted Dillard as his daughter's husband and that he was bound to take her soon, it was only up until the other night that he started to really feel that his daughter was leaving for good. He reminisced when he saw his daughter packing her bags, and he said, "We all realized she was really leaving. We are so glad that Derick is an answer to her prayers. It's an emotional time, but a joyful time."
