Power Rangers Release Date Set On April 2015? Michael Fassbender, Meryl Streep, And Tom Hardy Are In Talks Play The Villains Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, And Goldar Rumored!

Power Rangers Movie reboot release date has been revealed.

According to reports from MOVIEPILOT.com, an allege Power Rangers Facebook fan page claimed that the movie is set on a tentative date of April 2015. Although both Lionsgate and Saban hadn't made any official statement regarding the release date because of the thorough preparation for the script, filming schedules, and permanent cast and crew.

It was reported before by MTV that the six possible actors rumored to play the Power Rangers in the reboot are Liam Hemsworth (Red Ranger), Chloe Grace Moretz (Pink Ranger), Jack Gleeson (Blue Ranger), Michael B. Jordan ( Green/White Ranger), Jamie Chung (Yellow Ranger), and Roshon Feegan ( Black Ranger). "Taken" and" Non-Stop" star Liam Neeson was offered the role of Zordan, and the original Power Ranger cast member Jason David Frank confirmed to join the movie as the Ranger's trainer and mentor.

Zack Braff is rumored to play Zordon's robot assistant Aplha 5 and MADtv comedians Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key will portray Bulk and Skull in the movie.

Meanwhile, MTV News has reported that Academy Award winner Meryl Streep is rumored to be cast as the evil alien witch Rita Repulsa, while reports from ComicBookMovie.com claimed that "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star Michael Fassbender and "The Dark Knight Rises" star Tom Hardy are cast as the evil galactic conqueror Lord Zedd, and the ferocious alien general Goldar.

The producers of the film are still in talks with Fassbender, Streep and Hardy regarding their participation in the Power Rangers movie reboot, and so far their have been no confirmation.
