Actor Dave Legeno passed away while hiking in Death Valley, according to Entertainment Online.

Legeno, who was 50, was best known for playing werewolf Fenrir Greyback in the "Harry Potter" series.

Inyo County Sheriff's Dispatch reportedly received a notification this past Sunday that a dead body was found by a two-person hiking group in a remote wash below Manly Beacon, west of Zabrsikie Point in Death Valley.

The area the "Harry Potter" actor's body was found in was so remote that the Highway Patrol helicopter H-82 had to be used to transport Legeno.

The Sheriff's Dispatch stated that it appears Legeno died of heat-related issues, but the Inyo County Coroner will be determining the final cause of death. Local law enforcements told TMZ that Legeno may have been dead for three or four days before he was discovered.

There are reportedly no signs of foul play.

Along with "Harry Potter," Legeno's other credits include "Snatch" and "Snow White and the Huntsman," according to Extratv.

He is survived by a daughter.
