One of the positive reviews on the film and acting of Marion is from the The Guardian.

On the May 20, 2014 post, Peter Bradshaw's article included the performance of Marion. It said here that "It is another great performance from Marion Cotillard, who does not look out of place, like a starry A-lister, in the more austere Dardenne habitat. She is restrained and dignified, and again Cotillard shows what a marvellous technical actor she is: every nuance and detail is readably present on her face. She is compelling and moving - and so is the film." -TheGuardian
