Yoo Ah In has become the latest k-drama actor to suffer injuries on the set of a film or drama. And like so many actors he chose to ignore his injury and return to the set to resume filming.

The actor was injured while filming the movie "Sado" and was taken to the hospital. The injury took place during a scene in which his character Crown Prince Sado has a heated argument with his father, King Youngjo. Yoo Ah In was supposed to fall to the floor and hit his head on a fake stone floor but he got so carried away with his role that his head hit the real stone floor instead.
He was treated at the hospital and told to rest but despite the doctor's advice, he returned to the film site and continued acting.

His agency, UAA, released a statement saying that fans should not be concerned. The actor only received a minor injury.

"He only has a light bruise on his forehead," said the UAA statement.

Yoo Ah In is not the first k-drama actor to suffer an injury while filming. In the last year alone several k-drama actors have been treated for on-set injuries.

His "Sado" co-star Moon Geun Young injured her eye while filming "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji" and had to take a few days off from shooting while her eye healed.

Recently Seo In Guk injured his shoulder while shooting "High School King of Manners." He had to wear an ace bandage but the writers cleverly worked his injury into the plot.

Lee Seung Gi  had his eye cut with a prop knife while filming "All Surrounded" and he landed in the hospital. Filming was suspended for a few days while his cornea healed. Park Yoochun tore his shoulder ligament while filming "Three Days." He was told he would need to rest for three months, but he decided to keep filming rather than drop out of the drama or even limit his acting scenes. He filmed the entire drama while in pain.
"Sado" also stars Song Kang Ho as King Younggo. It is the story of Prince Sado, a prince history described as having been killed by his father because he was insane. However, this film takes a different point of view, describing him as a revolutionary whose views angered his father so much that he killed him.

'Sado" began filming on July 8 and is expected to premiere in 2015.
