This week's most anticipated drama debut had to be "It's Okay It's Love" and yet it was not the drama to take first place. The winner was "The Joseon Gunman."

"It's Okay It's Love" stars Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin who both had big hits last year. Jo In Sung made viewers weep when they saw him play a con man in love in "That Winter The Wind Blows." Gong Hyo Jin melted hearts because of her problems with dead people in "The Master's Sun" The drama should be a frontrunner. And yet "It's Okay It's Love" not only came in third but the ratings dropped slightly from its first to its second episode.

The drama dropped 0.2 percent from 9.3 percent to 9.1 percent. Jo In Sung plays a charming but troubled mystery writer in "It's Okay It's Love" and Gong Hyo Jin plays a cool collected psychiatrist. Advance publicity described Jo In Sung as a man with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder but he has yet to display much of that besides wanting his towels neatly folded. It's more like he is a man with a compulsive desire to have women like him. At first Gong Hyo Jin does not. But there are plenty of other interesting characters.

This week's ratings winner was "The Joseon Gunman," scoring 11.9 percent in the viewer ratings. The drama tells the story of a swordfighter who takes up a gun for revenge. It saw a 0.3 percent rise from the previous episode. The drama reunites actors Lee Jun Ki and Nam Sang Mi. It also stars Jeon Hye Bin.

But "The Joseon Gunman" does not have a comfortable lead. The MBC comedy "Fated To Love You" claimed second place this and broke its own record. The ratings rose 0.9 percent, taking it from 9.7 to 10.6 percent. "Fated To Love You" is a story about an ordinary temp who accidentally spends the night with a chaebol and become pregnant. They are pressured to marry but plan to divorce once the baby is born. And yet they wind up developing feelings for each other. The drama has a lot going for it. Jang Hyuk's comedy is practically slapstick, Jang Nara is so sweet, viewers can't help but cry for her predicament, and Choi Jin Hyk could turn out to be everyone's favorite "neighbor oppa."

The competition is close, so it's anyone's guess which drama will take the top score next week.
