Rosie Huntington-Whitely's career is hitting new highs. The supermodel turned actress, who has starred in a Transformers movie with Shia LeBeouf is now the new face of Prabal Gurung's Fall 2014 campaign.

The supermodel announced this exciting news herself on her Instagram page, saying,"So thrilled to be the face of @prabalgurung A/W '14 campaign."

The 27-year-old posted several photos of the campaign on her Instagram, and the photos are both surreal and stunning. The campaign is host by photographer Daniel Jackson, against a backdrop built from the ground up by set designer Gerard Santos.

It features the blond bombshell as a world-class luxe traveler in beautiful designer threads by Gurung. The fall 2014 collection by the designer takes its cues from the Himalayas, with fur and shearling, feather dresses, chunky knits, and luxurious silk gowns.

In an interview with WWD, the Nepalese-American designer said that he had chosen the supermodel specifically for this fall campaign.   "I've seen her progression and how she's moved on," the designer said. "What I like is that she hasn't limited herself to being just a model. There is a factor about her that she wants to try - she wants to go for it - and I like that."

The English model turned actress shot to stardom when she walked the catwalk for Victoria's Secret as a Victoria's Secret Angel. She has also modeled for Burberry.

She took to acting with a scene-stealing turn as Carly Spencer, in the 2011 Transformers film, The Dark of the Moon. Her next film starring role will be in Mad Max Fury Road, with Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.

Certainly, the model turned actress has become a household name because of these big starring roles both in movies and fashion. And this is what Gurung was looking for, to represent his emerging brand.  "As the business is growing exponentially, I wanted to focus on someone who has a little more of an international appeal," Gurung said.
