xXx The Return Of Xander Cage: Vin Diesel Back As Xander Cage? See The Photo The Fast And Furious Star Posted Hinting Of New xXx Movie

Fans of Vin Diesel know by now that the way be to updated on his films and other projects is to tune in to his Twitter and Facebook account. The action star is notorious for posting updates about his current and upcoming projects.

He has hinted that he will be appearing in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Most recently, he has hinted that despite the delays, his upcoming movie, The Last Witch Hunter, the movie is in fact good to go -- as seen in his photo wall of concept art for the movie.

One of the most anticipated projects of the Fast and the Furious star is his long-rumored xXx The Return Of Xander Cage movie. And because he is not one to disappoint, the 47-year-old has posted a photo on his Facebook page that seems to hint at the much awaited launching of his xXx movie. Check out the photo below.

The photo itself is not new -- those who watched the 2002 xXx film starring Vin Diesel will recognize it as one of the stills from the movie. Only, it has been reused for this new purpose of announcing what seems to be the imminent xXx The Return of Xander Cage movie.

The xXx director himself, has openly discussed the possibility of Xander Cage's return for the movie's third installment. Cohen told Crave Online, "We did all new extreme sports things. I don't know if you saw my Verizon wingsuit commercial, I had been preparing the climax of xXX 3D to b e a wingsuit sequence, an actual physical fight in the air at terminal velocity. So that commercial was a warm-up. I'm just waiting for Vin to get his head out of going back to back Fasts to sit down and really get him to focus on doing xXX 3D.That's what I called it because we're going to shoot it in 3D. I wanted to do an action film in 3D."

But plans changed and after a falling out between the director and his star, the third installment of xXX featured Ice Cube instead. Vin Diesel's character was show to have apparently been killed in a short sequence in the DVD's director's cut.
