The comedy about a man and woman who cannot escape fate has taken some time to reach first place but perhaps it was fated to get there eventually.

The comedy reached first place this week with its highest ratings ever, reaching 11.5 percent. It has taken some time for word of mouth to praise the charms of this story, which deftly combines lighthearted often slapstick humor with the tragedy of losing a child and the end of a marriage. If viewers have not previously seen Jang Hyuk or Jang Nara in anything, or even if they have, they have wonderful couple chemistry in this comedy.

The comedy is split into two parts with a space of three years between the happenings. This week began the comedy's second part, with Jang Nara having become a successful artist and Jang Hyuk still longing for her.

Adding to the ratings this week was the appearance of g.o.d. band member Park Joon Hyung. He is a longtime friend of Jang Hyuk's and wanted to make a cameo appearance in this comedy. In the recent episode he played a model for a shampoo called something similar to Baby Daddy. Jang Hyuk shows him how to hold a baby.

And although it was Park Joon Hyun's first performance, the staff reported that he filled his role smoothly and demonstrated comedic talent.

"The Joseon Gunman" which previously held first place was not far behind "Fated To Love You." That drama about a Joseon-era swordfighter who takes up the gun for revenge, was only a fraction behind the front runner with 11.1 percent of the ratings. The drama stars Lee Jun Ki in the title role and Nam Sang Mi as his love interest. Lee Jun Ki's character Yoon Kang began his quest desiring revenge but he has learned that revenge only begets more revenge and that it never ends. He has become an unwitting hero .

The SBS drama "It's Okay It's Love" rated 9.8 percent and landed in third place. In the latest episodes Jang Jae Bum, played by Yang Ik Joon, beat his brother Jang Je Yeol, played by Jo In Sung. With every blow Jo In Sung's character started to remember more of their tragic past. The secret to his hallucinations is buried somewhere in the childhood memories that his conscious mind has tried to suppress. He must remember before he can resolve his childhood trauma.

Which one of these dramas are you enjoying?
