Fashion Rocks 2014 Barclays News: Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull To Perform On The Resurrected Event at Barclays Center, Brooklyn!
After six years of being in the hiatus because of recession, Fashion Rocks will be back on stage on September 9, as opening act of resurrected New York Fashion Week. Together with Time Inc, as their new media partner, parent company, creator, Lions Entertainment, with Ron Burkle and Joel Katz, network partner CBS and Don Mischer Productions. Ryan Seacrest will host the inauguration from the Barclay Center, Brooklyn.
It its last run, Fashion Rocks was also a display of their major advertisers to current routine advertorial content. This year's advertisers are, Mazda Time Inc, Aol, Verizon, Macy's and L'Oreal. Mazda showed a new microsite named, FashionRocklive.com, featuring its custom made video of the show's highlights, that features, three of the years performers, Nico, Afrojack, Vinx and Duran Duran, this will be a teaser of the forthcoming 2016 Mazda MX-5. The car will be displayed on September 3 in California, at the Mazda Raceway. This will be a private concert.
The other performers are Nico &Vinz, Afrojack, Kiss, Duran Duran, Rita Ora, Mirand Lambert, The Band Perry, Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez. The U Got it Bad singer, Usher, will also perform on the said Fashion Rocks event,
In July, Usher hosted an event to raise funds for the 15th anniversary of New Look, a philanthropic foundation which supports education development for youth. Director Kenny Leon, producer Jermaine Dupri and Legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard were among the 450 attendees at the said event in Atlanta. In the September issue of O magazine, Usher openly talked about his divorce during the interview. The 35 year old Burn singer got married to celebrity stylist Tameka Foster from 2007 to 2009 reveals that the end of his marriage was something valuable. The RnB singer said getting married at 28 was the best mistake that he ever committed.
