Downton Abbey Season 5 Spoilers: See Photos From Upcoming Season Here; Plus See Historical Error In One Photo And Get To Know New Character!

There are more Downton Abbey photos out today! After the photos unveiled earlier of the babies of Lady Mary and Lady Sybil jumping from infanthood to their toddler years, there are a couple more teaser photos that could possibly help us figure out some Downton Abbey season 5 spoilers!

One photo shows Lady Mary outdoors, flanked by Branson and Lord Gillingham on the background. The shotguns tell us that they are out for a hunt, but what's most telling about the photo is not who is present, but who is obviously absent from the frame. Where is Charles Blake, Lady Mary's other ardent suitor? Does this mean that Lady Mary has already chosen Lord Gillingham?

Another photo shows a very dignified Carson the butler standing next to Mrs. Hughes. We remember from last season that there was a hint of a budding romance between the two, by way of a very lighthearted walk onto the waters of a beach. We can't know for if this photo is a Downton Abbey season 5 sppiler for the pair's future romance, but we would be delighted if this angle is pursued further. Then there's Isobel Crawley pruning a tree -- not much to conclude from there.

And then there's Anna and Mr. Bates, the couple we have always rooted for. Hopefully, this photo showing the married couple in somewhat okay looking circumstances means that no more rape case complications for  Downton Abbey season 5. There are also portraits of Thomas and Daisy, and a photo of Lady Cora with the character played by Richard E. Grant, Simon Bricker -- a new Downton character --- an art historian who will be a guest of the Crawleys.

The cast all looks dignified in their photos, but there is one photo that is a cause for amusement for  fans with a sharp eye. Is this a Downton Abbey season 5 spoiler for a huge timejump in the storyline? People are already amused and the photo has been circulated on the internet.

The photo of Lord Grantham and Lady Edith shows a background of a shelf with antique looking items, except for one. Could that be a water bottle at the right part of the photo?

All in all, a fun glimpse into the Downton Abbey world that has surely had us looking forward to the upcoming season.
