Colton Dixon releases new album this 2014! 

Remember Colton Dixon or Michael Colton Dixon in real life? He joined the eleventh season of American Idol! And finally, there's great news for the fans of AI Season 11 7th placer as Colton Dixon recently released his new album this 2014.

Particularly, this is Colton Dixon's sophomore album called "Anchor."

During an interview the Idol finalist gave a brief description of the inspiration behind his 2nd album. He also played the tune on a beautiful Steinway Piano.

According to BreatheCast, fans of  American Idol former contestant will be appearing on Mountain Dew cans (expect his picture on the cans with a code for free download of his single from new album).  Additionally, it was reported that Pepsi company will distribute 25 million cans at Wal-Mart's across the country with free download from the album.

Examiner said that Colton's tour schedule will be busier this year compare last year as he will appear in Walt Disney World on Sep. 6 and he is also set to join the 2014 Winter Jam Tour.

The young artist is reported that he is truly excited to have his sophomore album hit store shelves and has been promoting the album's release heavily on social media including Twitter and Facebook.
