The long wait is over! American Horror Story super fans, your brand new season of your favorite macabre television series is almost upon us. FX has recently announced the American Horror Story season 4 release date and it is on October 14. The brand new season as you may now very well know is called Freak Show, and there are more chills and spine tingling stories ahead to satisfy your appetite for the strange side of life.

Another great news is that the show has just released a teaser trailer for the show's upcoming season. And when we say teaser, it is quite a teaser since it just a mere ten seconds long. But trust us, that it's enough to give you the creeps. And it's also enough to further amp the anticipation for the American Horror Story season 4 release date this October, and the air time which is at 10 p.m.

In case you missed the official description from FX, here it is: "Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience."

According to rumors, some old characters will be coming to take part in Freak Show, notably, Pepper of Asylum (played by Naomi Grossman).

Breathecast.com reports that other characters that are allegedly part of the show will the two-headed twins named Bette and Dot (Sarah Paulson), a Twisted Clown (John Caroll Lynch), Penny the Candy Striper, Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange), Jimmy Darling (Evan Peters), and Ethel Darling (Evan Peters).

Also part of the cast as confirmed by showrunner Ryan Murphy is the world's smallest woman, an Indian actress who is 20-years-old but is only two feet tall.
