The newest wild, wild west epic from acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino may have just scored itself another A-list celebrity. Rumor has it that the newest cast member for another iconic Quentin Tarantino role is none other than The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence. According to Collider,

The Hateful Eight will soon be on the roster of Jennifer Lawrence movies for 2014, as the Oscar award winner is aid to be in talks to star in this brand new western, from the director of Inglorious Basterds. Though a bit late as far as casting choices go, the rumor is that Lawrence will be playing a crucial role among the movie's eight main characters.
So this could mean she would could probably be playing either of the two female roles that are part of the story. But with Jennifer Lawrence movie caliber, she would most probably be starring as Daisy Domergue, "The Prisoner," who is an official part of the eight in the Hateful Eight list.
Of course, Quentin Tarantino has been known to have a ragtag mix of ensemble characters for each of his film, and his genius is in the combination of unknown, up and coming actors, with Hollywood A-listers thrown into the blend.
