Plus Boardwalk Empire has also been announced to be on its final season when it airs this year. Now, it has also been announced that The Newsroom's upcoming season is also its last.

The Newsroom final season premiere is this November, and this last one will be made up of only six episodes. To excite audiences for the final room of their favorite news drama, HBO has recently released a The Newsroom final season trailer. The teaser clip doesn't actually show any scenes from the upcoming season, but it does show pages from showrunner Aaron Sorkin's scripts to tease viewers about the big events about to unfold in the news network drama.

Earlier in year, HBO big boss at programming Michael Lombardo gave his thoughts on The Newsroom and its final season run on the cable channel. "The Newsroom' is classic Aaron Sorkin - smart, riveting and thought-provoking. I'm sure this farewell season will be one to remember."

It will be remembered that Sorkin also worked on such critically acclaimed TV and movie projects such as The West Wing, and The Social Network. He is also the writer for an upcoming Sony Pictures' release on the life of Steve Jobs.

The Newsroom final season will wrap up the HBO show that revolves around a news channel crew and the behind-the-scenes drama that goes behind the production and reporting of the latest and most important news to hit the country. They reported about such real life events such as the shooting of Trayvon Martin and others.

All the major stars of the show are expected to return for this final season, including Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer, Olivia Munn, Sam Waterston, Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Dev Patel, and John Gallagher.
