‘Feast of the Gods’ Sung Yu Ri Defeats Seo Hyun Jin In Contest To Become A Formal Protégé
In the airing of MBC TV's weekend drama 'Feast of the Gods' on the 26th, Joon Young (Sung Yu Ri) ruins the tofu she was going to use for Arirang, the restaurant. Do Hee (Jun In Hwa) told her to throw away the hardened tofu, but Joon Young uses the tofu as an ingredient along with glutinous rice to make soft injeolmi (Korean rice cake) in the contest.
In order for fair judging of the dishes, Do Hee switches the name plates of In Joo (Seo Hyun Jin) and Joon Young as Arirang's kitchen staff all stand in front of In Joo's name plate.
The staff, thinking In Joo's dish was made by Joon Young, criticizes, "The presentation is pretty, but it seems as if there is no tofu." To Joon Young's cooking, they praise, "Not only is the dish tasty, but our stomachs are full. It's worthy of serving in the restaurant."
Do Hee, therefore, acknowledges Joon Young as the winner and says to her, "I congratulate you for formally becoming an Arirang protégé."
