In "Discovery of Love" Kim Seul Gi plays Yoon Sol, the sometimes too talkative friend of the heroine played by Jung Yu Mi. This year she also appears in "The Idle Mermaid" and a drama special titled "I'm Dying Soon."

And her acting is not limited to the small screen. She also had a role in the hit film "Miss Granny" She's done musicals, music videos and theater.

One of her funniest roles was portraying the bleary-eyes webtoon editor in "Flower Boys Next Door."

Although you've probably seen this funny comedienne, here are some more facts you may not know about her.

1.     Three dramas a year has been her average for the last three years. In 2013 besides "Flower Boys Next Door," she also appeared in "Pretty Man" as a teacher and "Reply 1994" as Sseureki's cousin. The year before she appeared in three dramas too: "Heartstrings," and two drama specials: "The Wedding Planner" and "The Whereabouts of Noh Sook Ja."

2.     One reason she's doing more acting these days is that in 2013 she left her regular gig on SNL Korea. She appeared on the program for two years after being recruited by film director Jang Jin.

3.     One of her favorite performers to work with is JYJ's Junsu. They co-starred in the musical "December Unfinished." She had long been a fan of his so the chance to co-star in a production was thrilling.

"Performing with him in front of his fans felt like a whole different world to me," she said. "Just like me, Junsu oppa does not have much acting experience, but his skills and strength are amazing enough to play the leading role. He's a very capable actor with great potential."

4.     She has appeared in music videos for Lee Hyori and Ra.D., but she also released a song called "Rude Girl," featuring Jay Park. The song was produced for the drama "She Is Wow."

After fans heard her curse in that music video some formed expectations.

"Lot of my fans wants me to swear," she said in an interview with Elle magazine. "I think most of my fans like my swearing. Some asks me when I am signing an autograph. " 

5.     She decided to become an actress as a way to recover from a broken heart but that doesn't mean it was easy.

Before her first appearance on SNL Korea, she was so nervous that she thought she was going to throw up.

"But now I am much more relaxed," she said.
