Kate Middleton And Prince William

Since their grand royal wedding, Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton have been known to be more down to earth than most royal couples that the world has seen. For example, it's been reported that Kate sometimes does their own grocery shopping and cooks for William, instead of always being waited on hand and foot by servants. We've also seen Kate wearing the same dress for two or maybe three occasions. And most recently, the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted shopping for discounted luxury brands at a bargain store in the UK.

This time around, Kate Middleton and Prince William were spotted riding the train at the King's Cross Station in London last Saturday, August 30. The pair were trying to not attract too much attention to themselves by trying to blend in with the rest of the crowd. Prince William wore a cap and a pair of eyeglasses. He was joined by Kate wearing very casual clothes, so as not to be recognized.

In further news of the royal couple's determination to live their lives in the non-traditional way, it was reported that Prince William has taken on a job! He is being "employed" by the East Aglian Air Ambulance and will accordingly be paid for his services. But the Duke of Cambridge will be giving all the money he earns to charity.

Prince William will be the first one who is a direct air to the throne, who will be employed by a civilian company like the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

"In common with all other East Anglian Air Ambulance pilots, The Duke will be formally employed by Bond Air Services," Kensington Palace said in the statement. "He will draw a salary which he will donate in full to charity."

"The Duke will start as a co-pilot but, after a period of training, will be qualified to fly as a helicopter commander...This job will be the Duke's primary occupation but his roster will take into account the duties and responsibilities he will continue to undertake on behalf of The Queen, both in the United Kingdom and overseas. The Duke will also continue his work with his patronages and with the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry," the statement adds.
