Jensen Ackle's Twitter wasn't the only exciting surprise for 'Supernatural' fans at the show's Vancouver Convention a couple of weeks ago.

According to International Business Times, the social media site exploded with news of either or both of Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki supposedly confirming production for 'Supernatural' season 11.

"We will have season 11... Suck it, Welling!" Ackles, who plays Dean Winchester, allegedly said during the event's question and answer section with fans. He was referring to the show 'Smallville,' starring Tom Welling as a younger Clark Kent, which ran for 10 seasons.

Although there has been no confirmation of the extension from the network, CW boss Mark Pedowitz is certainly in for more Winchester boys drama.

"I would love to see 'Supernatural' go beyond Season 10. I'm a big fan of the show. I've seen every episode... big fan of Jared and Jensen," Pedowitz told reporters last July according to Zap2It.

Screenrant also noted him as saying positive comments about the long-running show.

"As a fan of the show who's seen every episode, as long as I'm here and those numbers hold, God bless them," he said. "They can go as long as they want."

If 'Supernatural' season 11 doesn't push through however, CW is still quite open for a series spinoff.

"I would love to get a 'Supernatural' spinoff done. I think it's a great franchise and it's got a lot of legs to it," Pedowitz revealed.

CW did try to create a spinoff with 'Bloodlines' which they introduced last season, but wasn't pushed through since "it did not creatively go where we wanted it to go." They are, however, still open to more ideas for an alternate show.

Fans also shared their eagerness for the possible 'Supernatural' season 11 extension on social media.

"SUPERNATURAL SEASON 11 HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY JENSEN AND JARED THEMSELVES. I have one thing to say, 'I'm proud of us,'" one fan's excited tweet read.

Another avid viewer posted, "FRICK SEASON 11 OF SUPERNATURAL IS CONFIRMED IM CRYING."

For now, though, 'Supernatural' fans would have to watch Sam save his brother from being a demon in season 10, premiering on October 7 at the CW.
