The new and stylized edition is called, XX9, has a single piece, lightweight with black performance-woven upper material. The XX9 stands out that it newly-developed Flight Plate which makes it the first for any shoe in the market. The XX9 will be in two color ways, but will have the similar oversized orange logo of Jumpman, which has been the trademark of the shoes. Now, it is famous as the lighest Air Jordan ever made. The elephant, glossy midsole, semi-translucent and knit print sole can make the balers fly off and on the court.
Based on Nike's statement in their website, "Finding inspiration in Italy, the home of some of the world's greatest craftsmen, the Jordan design team created an upper that provides structure, support, interior comfort and exterior abrasion resistance. Using state-of-the-art weaving machines, the team learned they could provide all four major elements of the shoe in a single layer of material."
