Kim Hee Sun, Comes Back With ‘Faith’
After 6 years, Kim Hee Sun is coming back to the small screen. Her agency confirmed on the 3rd that she will be starring in SBS' drama that will air this August, 'Faith.' This is the first time her agency made such a formal announcement.
An insider from her agency stated, "On the 2nd, Kim Hee Sun has signed to be part of the drama." Kim Hee Sun's last drama was "Smile Again" which aired in 2006. During the time period of her hiatus, Kim Hee Sun has married and gave birth to a daughter.
'Faith' takes place in the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392); it focuses on a medical officer and how he becomes a 'Shin Eui,' a physician of high honor.
Kim Hee Sun stated, "I chose to be part of the drama because I really felt the character's charm while reading the script and thought the story line was also strong."
