Sinister Six Movie Update: Will Andrew Garfield Spider-Man Appear On The Movie? The 'ASM 3' Star Talks About The Issue

Now that it is confirmed that "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" is set to invade big screens in 2018, many expect to see Andrew Garfield in the super-villain film "The Sinister Six".

The anti-hero film, obviously, highlights Spider-Man's archenemies rather than our friendly neighborhood web-slinger. However, we couldn't deny the fact that Peter Parker has to be part of the film. He will appear, but the real question is: Who will take the role of Spider-Man? Is it Andrew Garfield?

In an interview by The Toronto Sun, Garfield said, "I know more than I'm allowed to say right now. I can say I'm really excited about Drew Goddard, who's going to be writing and directing The Sinister Six movie. And whether I'm involved in that or not is kind of immaterial."

Well, he's may be right, it doesn't matter if he will play the role or not since the movie is not really about him. But then, of course, Spider-Man is important part of "The Sinister Six" film because he is the one who triggers the super villains to form the group.

However, the way he speaks about Drew Goddard's "The Sinister Six", it seems that he is in talks with the director-writer. But of course, we are just trying to read between the lines; so, his involvement in the said film is still a speculation.

Sony Pictures, perhaps, would like to put elements of surprise in the film, that's why everyone mums on what's really happening now in "The Sinister Six". We always hear about the anti-hero film but the guessing game on who will complete the Sinister Six and if Spider-Man will appear in the movie remains.

All we know is that Doc Ock, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Green Goblin, and Vulture compose the Sinister Six but the last slot hasn't revealed yet. But some think it's The Lizard who will complete the group, while some hopes it's Venom. Other thinks that The Rhino will be saved on "The Amazing Spider-Man 3", so it is not sure if he will be the one to be included in the Six.
