Joan Rivers news reported that an audio recording of the late comedienne has been released. According to a report from Daily Mail, the TV icon could be heard "coughing and complaining" about her voice in what could be the last recording before her untimely death.

The audio clip was reportedly a test recording for Brad Zimmerman, a friend who occasionally opens shows for the comedienne. In it, the 81-year-old comic turned fashion critic could be heard saying: "My voice has been bothering me. I don't know what it is."

"I feel like s**t. I'm tired already," she added.

Joan Rivers news revealed that she visited Yorkville Endoscopy after the said test recording. E!Online reported weeks ago about how the comedienne stopped breathing during a minor endoscopic procedure at the said medical facility.

A source said: "They were putting a scope down her throat to check her vocal cords. She stopped breathing."

Joan Rivers news said an emergency call was made and the comedienne was then rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, said E!Online.

Joan Rivers died on September 4 a week later, at the age of 81.

In spite of not feeling well, the Daily Mail report said the comedienne still managed to crack jokes, as heard in the audio recording.

"This is terrible copy. Who wrote this crap?" Joan Rivers continued in the audio clip.

"Coming to the Triad Theater, starting October 10 through New Year's," she said in the test recording, jokingly adding she has "better things to do on New Year's than this s**t!"

In related Joan Rivers news, outpatient clinic Yorkville Endoscopy has reportedly fired its medical director. According to the report from Us Weekly, the medical facility's decision came following suspected medical malpractice that led to the "Fashion Police" host's untimely death.

ABC News confirmed the Joan Rivers news via Twitter last September 12, Friday: "BREAKING: Medical director of Yorkville Endoscopy where #JoanRivers went to cardiac arrest is out. He is no longer performing procedures at the clinic."
