‘Love Rain,’ Don’t Judge Based On Viewer Ratings

Even though the director stated that the drama will pick up its story line and become more interesting, there hasn’t been any significant change with its audience.

The drama has been pulling in quite a low rating in viewers; its most recent episode pulled in 5.9%.

The drama has been getting criticism about its viewer ratings and also questioned its entertainment.

However, the drama has a lot of potential with its unique storyline, having two actors play two completely different roles for two completely different settings. Not only that, it pays close attention to details; for example, the color yellow has been popping up a lot. The yellow umbrella that In Ha (played by Jang Geun Suk) and Yoon Hee (played by Yoona) used together in the ‘70s comes out again as the setting changes to 2012 and Yoon Hee (played by Lee Mi Sook) passes In Ha (played by Jung Jin young) while holding a yellow umbrella. Also, Ha Na (played by Yoona) is seen wearing a yellow coat while she is with Joon (played by Jang Geun Suk).

Even though the drama has one of the lowest viewer ratings, viewers are encouraged to judge the drama by its content and not by the statistics.
