Lindsay Lohan's Instagram has revealed behind- the-scenes photos from "Speed The Plow". The images were reported by Broadway World ,showing the former "Mean Girls" actress visibly excited for her West End debut.

One photo from Lindsay Lohan's Instagram showed the theatre newcomer onstage, captioned: "On stage!!! Rehearsing and vocal practice #speedtheplow".

The former child star also took to the photo sharing site to comment on the size of the venue. "I'm at the theatre!!!!! It's so big!!!!! Ahhhh #speedtheplow October 2nd" said one Lindsay Lohan Instagram post.

A similar photo was posted by the controversial actress earlier this week. "At The Playhouse #superfine pants #isabelmarant shoes #equipment top #celine bag", read the post, reported by Broadway World ,

Lindsay Lohan also praised her "Speed The Plow" co-workers via her Instagram posts earlier this month. Other behind-the-scenes photos were captioned: "Brilliant actors at #work #speedtheplow @richard_schiff #lindsayposner and @nigellindsay1 good day! Also with #sundaytimes".

The now London-based "Speed The Plow" lead star was recently in the news following her feature with UK's Telegraph, where she revealed how it became "hard to stay in New York" after appearing in the docuseries entitled "Oprah's Next Chapter".

The 28-year-old said agreeing to be part of the Oprah reality show back in 2013 made her a "target" in her hometown. Telegraph said the series reportedly tackled the former-Disney-star- turned-wild-child's drinking problem, an alleged miscarriage, and emotional meltdowns.

The Lindsay Lohan scandal that ensued after "Oprah's Next Chapter" became too much for the controversial actress.

"After the Oprah show it was kind of hard for me to be in New York," she told Telegraph.

The troubled star then decided to relocate to Europe. It was then when she reportedly realized it was time to end her crazy partying lifestyle and prioritize her West End debut, "Speed The Plow".

A report from Daily Mail said the actress has been making conscious efforts to turn away from her partying ways.

She admitted that her decision to focus on work is also because she is "very nervous" about her stage debut, which she says is far from her "comfort zone" as a movie actress.

David Mamet's "Speed The Plow" will run in London's Playhouse Theatre starting September 24. The theatre piece is directed by Lindsay Posner, said from Daily Mail
