This romantic comedy about three brothers and their uncle could also be called "Nine Plus Things The Nine Plus Boys Do For Love."

The "Nine Plus Boys" are ages 9, 19, 29 and 39. And because of some perceived bad luck associated with years ending in nine, they are all having bad luck romantically. For two of them, things have not been going well romantically for some time and it's not just a matter of being an unlucky age.

So at this point in the k-drama plot, they are trying to make love work. And they find more than nine ways they think can make it happen.

As k-dramas are really good at having men prove their love, the more than nine ways the nine plus boys woo their women are worth mentioning. Here's how hard they worked at it:

Gu Kwang Su, played by Oh Jung Se, lost the woman of his dreams years ago and he was ready to walk around like a sad puppy, unable to connect with anyone else, until his lost love moved in upstairs. Once he was determined to win her back, he visited her coffee shop often, waited for her, offered her rides, wore his best clothes, and reminded her of the past. While this may not seem especially bold, publicly proposing to her in the past only embarrassed him, so it takes a lot of courage to confront her.

His nephew Kang Min Gu, played by Yook Sungjae, falls for a woman he believes is his destiny. He waits for her every day after school, tries to learn about the music she likes, texts her, and buys tickets to a concert for her favorite indie band. Then he is bold enough to get up on stage and sing to her.

Kang Dong Gu, played by Choi Ro Woon, is only nine, but already he has had his heart broken, having lost his adorable girlfriend to another child actor. He works hard to become the best actor he can be, so his girlfriend will look at him again. But becoming a star may be less important than becoming more considerate of her.

Kang Jin Gu is 29. Played by model-turned-actor Kim Young Kwang, his romantic problems are his own fault as he was once a player. But now that he realizes that Se Young is the one, he has to settle for being her friend. And he's a loyal friend, riding the bus home with her even though he no longer lives in that neighborhood, pretending not to be upset by the fact that he was friend-zoned and supporting her no matter, what.

Each of the Nine Plus boys is learning that love is sacrifice, listening and remaining loyal. Propsective boyfriends, whatever your age, take note.
