Im Si Wan and Kang So Ra shed some tears in the newly-released video teasers for "Misaeng."

On September 29, two teasers of the upcoming tvN drama "Misaeng" featuring Im Si Wan and Kang So Ra were released.

Im Si Wan, who was also cast in the 2013 film adaptation, reprises his role as the protagonist Jang Geu Rae, a young adult whose dream of becoming a professional baduk (traditional board game) player is crushed. Following Jang Geu Rae's defeat in a competition, he finds an internship in a small company despite only having a high school degree.

In the teaser, Jang Geu Rae can be seen weeping happily inside an elevator, the reason being he was able to go home on time. Accompanying his tears are captions which say, "Going home from the office at the right time: an overwhelming wave of emotions."

Meanwhile, Kang So Ra will be acting as Jang Geu Rae's co-intern, Ahn Young, who will be the receiving end of envy and jealousy from some of the workers in the company because of her accomplishments. However, despite her straightforward and serious persona, she can be girly and feminine.

In the teaser, Ahn Young can be seen counting down the days before the weekend, only to be disappointed at how many days she has left. As she cries, the caption say, "Counting the weekends: too short."

"Misaeng," which literally translates to "an incomplete life," is based on a popular web cartoon by artist Yoon Tae Ho. It is an office comedy about a group of young professionals who are finding their niche in the tough corporate world, and how the people around them will help them find meaning in their work.

Director Kim Won Suk and writer Jang Yoon Jung will be heading the production team, marking their reunion after the hit drama "Monstar."

The drama is scheduled to air every Fridays and Saturdays starting on October 17.
