Big Bang member and "Angel Eyes" actor Seungri has been readmitted to the hospital only five days after he was discharged. The singer-actor fainted on Sept. 30 and was admitted to a hospital  intensive care unit with a fever of 104˚ F.

YG Entertainment told eNews that the complications were likely the result of leaving the hospital too soon after his recent injury. Seungri spent two weeks in the hospital following a car accident.

"Seungri was hastily discharged from the hospital early on September 25 in order to prepare for the Incheon Asian Game's closing ceremony, as well as the police investigation," said the YG representative.

But Seungri's weakended condition will prevent him from attending the closing ceremony for the 2014 Incheon Games.

Seungri spent two weeks in the hospital following a car accident early in the morning of Sept. 12. The accident occurred when he was driving his Porsche in the direction of Ilsan on the Gangbyeon Expressway in Seoul. His car hit a Mercedes Benz driving in another lane. Then he hit the guardrail, causing his car to flip over.

The singer-turned-actor was returning from a party at Club Octagon in Gangnam when the accident happened. The event celebrated the launch of YG's new fashion brand collaboration with Samsung Everland. Although the singer was returning from a party, the Yongsan police have already ruled out drunk driving but the accident remains under investigation.

Passengers in the other car only reported minor injuries for which they were treated. After the accident Seungri reportedly did not even want to go to the hospital but the emergency crews present convinced toat least undergo a physical examination. It was fortunate that he listened as he suffered internal damage.

According to YG, "The final test results showed no fractures, but they did find some mild bleeding in the liver."

At the time a newspaper report said that the youngest member of Big Bang would require liver surgery but YG said it was not true. Seungri only required rest and medical supervision.

"The medical team made the diagnosis that it's something that will be fully healed if he takes it easy for a week," said the YG representative.

However, even after two weeks of hospital rest, the singer remained in a vulnerable state, which led to his becoming sick and fainting. He was transferred from intensive care to a general ward. There is as yet no word on how long he will remain there.
