Managers for the actress found her body hanging at her house in Seoul on the 12th and rushed her to a hospital, only to have her pronounced dead.
According to sources with close knowledge of the situation, Jung Ah Yool - who lived by herself - was suffering from depression, as well as abusing sleep medication. On the 11th she had left a telling status on her Facebook page saying: "Nothing makes me feel better." Even before then she had mentioned feeling lonely and overwhelmed multiple times. The deceased's family and friends gathered at a funeral site in a hospital in Seoul's Kang Nam district to mourn her passing. The funeral ceremony is set to take place on the 15th.
