'Love, My Love' Actress Jung Ah Yool Passes Away

Emerging actress Jung Ah Yool was found dead, sending a wave of shock throughout the Korean entertainment world. She was 25.

Managers for the actress found her body hanging at her house in Seoul on the 12th and rushed her to a hospital, only to have her pronounced dead.

According to sources with close knowledge of the situation, Jung Ah Yool - who lived by herself - was suffering from depression, as well as abusing sleep medication. On the 11th she had left a telling status on her Facebook page saying: "Nothing makes me feel better." Even before then she had mentioned feeling lonely and overwhelmed multiple times. She left no suicide note.

The actress was playing the role of a friend of the protagonist Hwang Sun Hee in KBS 2TV's 'Love, My Love' at the time of her untimely death.

The deceased's family and friends gathered at a funeral site in a hospital in Seoul's Kang Nam district to mourn her passing. The funeral ceremony is set to take place on the 15th.
