Hyo Min, member of the girl group T-ara, has reportedly been cast as the lead actress for the upcoming 8-part MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'One Thousandth Man'.

According to reports from the 14th, Hyo Min and actor Kang Ye Won have been cast as the main characters for the drama.

A source with Hyo Min's agency admitted that Hyo Min has indeed been confirmed for the lead role, saying that "MBC asked us not to say too much about the drama's casting."

Another source with Kang Ye Won's agency, however, said that his client's casting as the lead "has not been finalized, is still in the fine-tuning stages and will be officially announced soon", and emphasizing that "as of now, we're not at the stage to say for sure".

'One Thousandth Man' centers around the story of a gumiho (a nine-tailed fox who often lures men by taking the form of a beautiful woman) who must eat the livers of a thousand men; there is a catch, however, as the 1000th liver must be from a victim who truly loves her. The fantasy melodrama is set to begin airing in August.
