'Big' Sad Ending? Suzy Implies Possible Memory Loss

'Big' character Jang Ma Ri (played by Bae Suzy)'s foreshadowing comment is drawing attention for its potential to be a major factor in the development of the plot.

On the 5th episode of the KBS TV Monday-Tuesday drama 'Big' that aired on the 18th, Jang Ma Ri speaks to an unconscious Kang Kyung Joon (played by Shin Won Ho), saying that "you have to forget all about Gil Da Ran (played by Lee Min Jung)."

Jang Ma Ri has been taking care of her crush Kang Kyung Joon as he is unable to become conscious. Never leaving his side, Ma Ri mutters as she falls asleep at his bedside, "Kyung Joon, let's meet in our dreams. Come visit me in my dreams."

Ma Ri continues as she gazes at him, "Kyung Joon, don't go to Gil Da Ran. She likes someone else, not you. She says only the other person is in her heart. Even if you go see her, she won't even look at you. You're only going to get your heart broken."

The most intriguing part of Ma Ri's pleas, though, was her desperate advice for when Kyung Joon wakes up. Ma Ri repeatedly says, "Kyung Joon. When you wake up you have to forget all about her. You have to forget all of it", creating a possible foreshadowing that when Kang Kyung Joon's soul returns to his own body, he may forget all of his past memories with Gil Da Ran.

Meanwhile, Jang Ma Ri also discovers that Seo Yoon Jae (played by Gong Yoo) and Kang Kyung Joon strike the same poses in photographs, wondering "Why is that guy like Kyung Joon?", adding interest to the development of the storyline.
