'A Gentleman's Dignity' Jang Dong Gun "I first acted like I was filming a movie but..."

Actor Jang Dong Gun, revealed his satisfaction in his image change through his current SBS drama 'A Gentleman's Dignity'.

On June 22nd, during a press conference for the drama he revealed, "The reason why I chose this drama was to get out of the heavy image I portrayed throughout my past works. I wanted to act a light and fresh character."

"I've been thinking of doing the image change for years now and I came across this production."

"At first I was working like I was filming a movie, but I realized as time passed that I didn't need to do that. I realized that all I needed to do was know the purpose of each scene. In our drama, a lot of the characters have serious moments and then suddenly the mood between the characters become less heavy and serious. Since these kinds of scenes are uncommon in movie filming, I was very confused. Now the director asked me to tone down my acting a bit because I act that way too far."

"I have a lot fun while working on this production. I'm very happy that the viewers are very happy with the show also. Even though I film without sleeping for days, my heart is very happy and satisfied with this production."
