Actor and singer Lee Seung Gi completed his duties as a torch-bearer for the 2012 London Olympics.

The torch relay, which is in its 36th day, passed onto the "Korean stage". the 25 Korean bearers relayed the Olympic torch from Lytham St. Anne's to Manchester; Lee Seung Gi himself covered a distance of 320 meters in northern Manchester's Rochdale, following Machester Road.

Samsung Electronics, the official sponsor of 2012 London Olympics' torch relay and wireless communications partner, announced on March 20th that Lee Seung Gi had been selected as a torch-bearer, citing the celebrity's popularity with people of all ages and gender, as well as his mild temper and international influence as a Korean star.

Lee Seung Gi described his run as "a once-in-a-lifetime experience that was good", and expressed his honor to be a part of a global festival such as the Olympics.

The torch, which left Greece on May 18th, is scheduled to pass through over a thousand cities in England before arriving at the London Olympic Stadium on July 27th; there are a total of 8000 torch-bearers for this year's ceremony.
