'Girls' Generation' Stamps Come Out, Released in August
The 'Girls' Generation' stamps have been released.
Girl Group 'Girls' Generation' have modeled for postage stamps and from August the postage stamps 'Girls' Generation My Personal Stamps' will be sold.
"'Girls' Generation My Personal Stamps' is the personal contract project between the Korea Post and is also the first Korean celebrity postage stamp."
"Girls' Generation has become the strong head of the global k-pop trend. They have become the hot topic all over the world so the postage stamps have used the members of 'Girls' Generation' as models."
This postage set will be celebrating 'Girls' Generation' 5th year anniversary. The postage set will consist of 'Girls' Generation' Official 3rd album 'The Boys' image stamps, 'Gee' , 'Oh!' and many other album images.
The price for 'Girls' Generation My Personal Stamps' will be $20.00(converted) and will be sold all over Korea at more than 50 postal offices. It will be sold from August 9th 2012 ~ January 3rd 2013. These stamps will also be exhibited at the '2012 Korea Philatelic Exhibition.'
The Korea Post head team member Kim Tae Wan has stated "This project with Girls' Generation is going to become a very big project and we are anticipating the results."
