‘Young Face’ Choi Ji Yeon Returns With ‘Why Didn’t You Get Married?’
Actress Choi Ji Yeon makes her comeback to small screens after three years.
In the 5th episode airing on the 13th, Choi Ji Yeon will appear as the female lead in E-Channel's 'Why Didn't You Get Married?,' marking her return to acting after three years since her film in 2009.
In 'Why Didn't You Get Married?,' Choi Ji Yeon will play Lee Roo Da, a woman who creates meetings in order to marry. Rather than waiting around for fate, her character actively searches for a husband through a marriage information company as well as blind dates set up by her mother and friends. Lee Roo Da is a thirty year-old office worker trying various methods for marriage.
Choi Ji Yeon successfully digests several different acting attempts through her various style transformations. According to a producer of the drama, "Choi Ji Yeon, who is known for her 'young face,' will unleash her hidden acting talents through 'Why Didn't You Get Married?'"
'Why Didn't You Get Married?' is a compilation of different actors starring in each episode. As a drama depicting the lives and worries of 2030's Korean males and females close to the marrying age, every episode contains a story related to marriage.
