"The Flash" movie release date might be set for 2018. Apart from that, the actor who will play the role of Barry Allen will be "Perks Of Being A Wallflower" actor, Ezra Miller.

In the movie "Perks Of Being A Wallflower," Ezra Miller played as Patrik, the gay stepbrother of Sam (Emma Watson). Logan Lerman also stars in the film.

As per Screen Rant, "The Flash" movie won't arrive until 2018 in order to give plenty of time for Grant Gustin and the "The Flash" TV series to have its run and firmly establish itself, before Ezra comes along and delivers his take. It seems that TV series version got a postive result on its first day of airing. According to Hollywood Reporter, DC Superhero TV series got 4.54 million viewers and a 1.8 rating with adults ages 18-49.
