‘Dr. Jin’ Talking About Extending The Show

MBC weekend drama 'Dr. Jin' is talking about extending the show of two more episodes. 

On the 13h, one of the producers said, "We did bring on the topic of extending the show but we are still in the process of talking to our actors too. If we do extend, we are going to do about two more shows. All the actors are pretty positive about it."

In the beginning, the show was supposed to only air 20 episodes and now they have six more episodes to air. But they came to the conclusion that the show needs more episodes because it is impossible to solve all the mystery of the history, and the existence of everything. Even though Dr. Jin is in their 12-13% viewer ratings compared to 'A Gentleman's Dignity', which is 20% airing in the same time, it is more positive that they will make the show longer because it is currently recording the highest rating in all of the MBC dramas that is going on right now.

However, there is much complication with the actors because it is hard to readjust all the set schedules they had thinking that the episode will only go on for 20 episodes. One of the actors on the show said, "We are still only in discussion for the extension but it puts me in great distress because there are articles written that it has been certain that there will be two more episodes."
