While drinking wine and holding a newspaper on the streets of Paris, France, Actor Jang Geun Suk shouts "New York Herald Tribune!"

Jang Geun Suk tweeted on July 14, "I am not waging war against the world. I just want to prove to myself...New York Herald Tribune...!" He also posted, "I feel relieved of 4 years of stress. Be Happy!" along with a photo.

He poses in another photo (see above) drinking wine with his eyes closed, with the Arc de Triomphe in the back.

In 2008, Jang Geun Suk wrote on his home page, "If I get the chance to go to paris again, I am going to hold wine in one hand and a newspaper in the other in the middle of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and shout 'New York Herald Tribune!'"

Jang Geun Suk explained that he was inspired by the female protagonist that sells the New York Herald Tribune on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Jean-Luc Godard's film "A bout de souffle".
